Here is what was discussed :

 * It appears that the small LCSS Guyana Committee we have been trying to create can be the PTA. Pamilla has been in touch with them and they welcome our efforts. They would like to know of projects we are working on so efforts are not duplicated. They would like to be present at the school when contributions (like uniforms, copy machine, cash or anything ) are made. We asked Pamilla to consider joining the PTA where she can be our voice. It would be good if Phool can also join. Partnering with the PTA seems like the right thing to do. We will investigate further.

* Uniforms – Phool and Pamilla are still waiting for some information from the HM and on some quotes. We are targeting the start of the next school term (September) for the completion of this project. This will allow the time needed as most likely the uniforms will be ordered from the Philippines.

 * Copy machine – Pamilla looked into one (Xerox Work Center 3530) and believes this will work. Ameer also checked it out online while we were on the call and confirmed it is a good machine so we gave Pamilla and Phool the OK to go for it. Cost is about $2500 US plus delivery from GT, installation and training. A service contract will also be established. Pamilla & Phool will be finding out about all (total) costs.

 * Payments for uniforms and copy machine – cash. We discussed the best way to do this.

* An Internet camera was also discussed. It’s not expensive (under $100) but more discussion is needed before purchasing it

* Next call will be set up once Pamilla and Phool are ready to submit all costs for both the uniform and copy machine.
