1. 2011 Dinner / Dance Fund Raiser
· Contract – It was discussed that it is highly unlikely that we will get a contract for the hall at this time and we should not insist on it. Riaz and Eno will visit Kali on Tuesday, 9/13 to discuss our expectations/concerns for the event. The details to be discussed are:
i. Security
ii. Garbage bins
iii. Cleanup workers
iv. AC at 65°
v. Tables and chairs
vi. Table and chair covers
vii. Floor layout –stage and food area
viii. Bartenders
2. Food and Drink List
· The food list was revised. An updated list will be provided by Rahda.
· The ice, booze, water, sodas and other drinks will be purchased on the day of the event by Rakesh, Ganee, Chris and Ameer.
3. Miscellaneous items
· All miscellaneous items such as wrist bands, pourers, cups, plates, napkins, forks, spoons, decorations will be acquired by Radha, Eno and Ceceila.
· Chris said that banners from last year are probably at Majestics and will try to contact them to see if they still have it.
4. DJ
· Eno said she got confirmation from DJ Dave.
5. Next meeting
· The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 2011 8:00 PM, at Village hut. The goal of this meeting is to finalize all details for the event.
