1) Dinner Dance Funds Raiser:
a) Ticket and raffles sales progress report was reviewed. Raffles are doing OK but ticket sales are lagging behind last year
b) All the particulars such as food list, DJ, suppliers, liquor and bar tending were reviewed and finalized. Tasks for each member on the event evening were assigned
c) Set up of the venue will be done on Friday night and Saturday morning by committee members
d) Set up of the food court to be moved away from the door to facilitate flowe. Times for the speeches, who will speak and when the raffle will be draw were all finalized
2) LCSS has a new headmaster Mr. La Cruz to whom Riaz has spoken. This is very good news because his wife works at the Ministry of Education and perhaps this will provide us with better attention at the school from the Government. Riaz reports upplies are improving at LCSS because the Ministry knows the school is being backed an active alumni association and apparenty the LCSS requests are being taken more seriously.
3) Playground: Unfortunately our efforts to find somebody to finish the job has still not come to fruition. Maybe the new headmaster will have connections.
