Minutes of 9/2/10 NY Executive Committee meeting

- Inventory of entrance and raffle tickets taken
- General review of all payments, food and liquor lists, assignments
- Terry Gagraj: We will ask him to make an appearance and hopefully he will say yes.
- Speeches discussed and agreed upon
- Flyers: Kris started distribution and other members will do the same
2. New school headmaster is Mr. Felton Frasier. Riaz has spoken to him and a follow up letter will be sent from the Executive Committee
3. Rakesh was in Guyana recently and visited the school. He met the new Headmaster and also reported to us about the overall condition of the school and the dirt that was donated for the playground. Furniture is sorely needed and none of the existing outdated computers in the school are functioning. Broadband has reached Correntyne but only in selected locations.
4. Book shipment ex USA to Guyana: Dev Cheeda informed us the CHS Committee is sending books to Guyana and asks if we have any interest for LCSS which would involve paying a portion of the freight cost. We are asking Dev for a listing of what type of books are involved so we can decide
