    1. New executive committee members: Rebecca Sue Vaughn ’84 in Canada and Rachael Connett ’79 in California have both asked to join the committee and we are pleased to welcome them. We would like Rebecca to liason for us with the Canadian alumni. Since both of these members are not able to attend our NY meetings, we will have some by Skype and telephone in the future to keep them in the loop.

                  1. The HM has asked for a letter stating who the executive committee members are who is to be the primary contact persons etc. The HM will establish a “Finance Committee” to liason with us. We are going to ask that this committee also include some 5th Form students

                  1. The graduation ceremony will consists of 22 students who have passed 4 subjects minimum but we are going to ask that the ceremony include all students of the form.

                  1. The HM will eventually meet the Ministry of Education to discuss building a new school and at a new location

                  1. Playground: Unfortunately this looks like a lost cause. The HM has learned who the owner is of the playground and that there are also back taxes owed. Relatives of the owner say we have to get permission from that owner to improve the playground. Supposedly the owner is in Canada. We have to drop this matter now, especially if we are thinking of moving the school.

                3) Meeting with Guyana Ambassador Mr. Baney Karran in Washington DC.: We have drafted a letter to this ambassador and we are ready to send it to him which will outline our desire to build a new school and how we can contribute to it monetarily. Before sending the letter we are going to discuss this matter with the HM.
